Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah , Married with five children and ten grand children.

Hobbies include singing with the Saltaires Show Chorus, Fly fishing, and golf. My biggest pleasure is spending time with my grandchildren

Jamie Pogue, DMD

College: University of Kentucky, accepted early admission to dental school.

Dental school: University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, May 1992
Practiced general dentistry for 5 years before returning to school to specialize.

Specialty Training: Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, June 1999

Private Specialty Practice: July 1999 to present with Richard Elggren, DMD.


Originally from Kentucky, I now live in Draper with my wife Whitney ( Dr. Elggren's daughter), and my four children Sierra, Kendall, Parker and Noah.

I am an avid cyclist (mountain biking, road biking, and single speed mountain biking), and also enjoy snow skiing and kayaking. I am a huge college basketball fan and enjoy playing basketball, but have recently retired. (For the 10th time and counting...)
